Handstand Around the World

Short version: we ask for as little as possible, we never sell anything, and you can download or delete everything at any time.

What we collect

What we do not do

We do not store your IP address. Reports keep a one-way fingerprint of it so that one person cannot report the same photo twice — the address itself is never written down.
We do not sell, rent or share your data with third parties.
We do not profile you and we run no advertising.

Audience measurement

Umami (self-hosted, cookieless) counts page views without cookies and without any personal identifier. Additional tools (Google Analytics / Tag Manager) load only if you accept them in the cookie banner, and you can change your mind at any time from the “Cookies infos” button.

How long we keep it

Account data is kept until you delete your account. Photos stay online until you remove them or ask for your account to be deleted.

Your rights

You can exercise these yourself, without asking anyone:

Get a copy of your data (portability). Sign in, open your profile, then “Download my data”. You get a ZIP with your original photos and a data.json.
Delete your account (erasure). Sign in, open your profile, then “Delete my account”. You choose what happens to your published photos: keep them on the map credited to “Anonymous”, or delete them along with their files.
Correct your data. Your profile page is editable. A photo sent without an account can be corrected from the claim link that was shown to you after the upload.
Stop the emails. Every country-follow email carries a one-click unsubscribe link.

Anything else — including a photo of you posted by someone else — goes through the contact form or contact@handstandaroundtheworld.com. We answer within a few days.
