Hosting

The site runs on a virtual private server rented from a commercial hosting provider. Traffic passes through Cloudflare, Inc., which acts as a reverse proxy and content delivery network.

Photos and copyright

Every photo on this site was sent by the person who appears in it or took it. Contributors keep all rights to their photos and only grant us the right to display them here — and, when they explicitly tick the box, to repost them on the project's social accounts with credit.

If a photo of yours was published without your permission, use the Report button under any photo, or write to us: it will be taken down.

What we collect, why, and how to get it back or have it erased is set out in the privacy policy.

Cookies

The site sets a session cookie when you sign in, and a cookie recording your cookie choices. Audience measurement uses Umami (self-hosted, cookieless), which sets no cookie and stores no personal identifier. Anything else is loaded only if you accept it in the banner.
